I'M CURRENTLY GATHERING INSIGHTS  AND RESEARCH FOR A WHITE PAPER ON EVENT CAREERS. WANT TO COLLABORATE?

The events industry doesn’t follow a clear career ladder and that is both a good and bad thing. It's an industry full of opportunities but one that can be hard to navigate long-term. Titles vary across sectors. Responsibility doesn’t always align with pay. Progression is informal, inconsistent, and often dependent on networks rather than visibility.

By mid-career, many experienced professionals plateau, burn out, or leave. My work helps event professionals see their progression in a new way, take control over their careers and reframe success. It also helps organisations make career progression visible, credible, and sustainable without forcing everyone into management or losing high performers to other industries.
