WANT TO SEE A LIST OF 21 PLACES TO FIND ICONIC EVENT OPPORTUNITIES?

your  evet ee isllowed to chnge

You can be good at what you do and still wonder what comes next.

Maybe you want to work on bigger events, move into a different part of the industry, become more visible, make the jump into leadership, move from delivery into something more strategic, or build a freelance career that actually works for you. Maybe you’re trying to land a specific opportunity, starting a side venture, taking on a new level of responsibility or simply feeling like the career you built doesn’t quite fit anymore.

I work closely with experienced event professionals to make sense of those moments, figure out what comes next and help with the practical things that happen along the way.

you need someone in your corner instead of more advice:

You know the event industry. You have experience. You’ve probably figured out a lot on your own, but some career questions are difficult to answer when you’re standing in the middle of them.

You might be:
  • Wondering how to get closer to the major events you actually want to work on
  • Good at what you do but struggling to see a clear path forward
  • Ready to move from delivery into leadership, strategy or a more senior role
  • Considering a pivot into a different sector or type of event
  • Freelancing successfully but wanting to become more intentional about what comes next
  • Feeling like you’ve hit a ceiling in the part of the industry you know
  • Trying to become more visible and better known for what you actually do
  • Questioning whether your current career model is sustainable
  • Returning to the industry after time away and wondering how to reposition yourself
  • Building something alongside your event career and needing help figuring out how to make it work
  • Or simply thinking, “I know I want something different. I just don’t know what that is yet.”

You don’t need another generic career plan. You need someone who understands the industry, can see the bigger picture and is close enough to the detail to actually help.

what we can work on

Sometimes the most useful thing I can offer is a strategy. Sometimes it’s perspective. Sometimes it’s practical help. And sometimes it’s telling you that the thing you’ve been trying to make work probably isn’t the thing you should keep trying to make work.

There isn’t a fixed programme to work through. We start with your situation, then work out what would actually be useful.

Figuring out what you actually want next and whether the career you’re building is taking you there.

Career direction

Major-event opportunities

Understanding how to get closer to the events, organisations, sectors and people you want to work with and thinking through how to actually pursue the opportunities that matter to you.

Career pivots

Moving between sport, luxury, fashion, film, entertainment, corporate and cultural events without feeling like you’re starting from zero.

Positioning

Getting clearer and more specific about what you do, what you want to be known for and where you add the most value.

Freelance strategy

Making sense of the event-to-event career, building relationships, choosing opportunities, strengthening your freelance operations and creating a career that works beyond the next contract.

The moments when you’re successful on paper but questioning what you’re doing, where you’re going or whether you even want the same things anymore.

The messy middle

Career progression

Moving beyond simply being busy or good at your job and thinking strategically about visibility, responsibility, leadership and what comes next.

Practical career and event work

Sometimes you don’t need career strategy. You need someone who understands the actual thing you’re dealing with. That might mean figuring out how to run the operational side of your freelance business, preparing for a specific event you’re trying to land, working out how to start a side venture, thinking through a new service or project, or having someone experienced in your corner as you take on more responsibility. The work can be career strategy, practical problem-solving, operational thinking or simply having someone to talk something through with when you don’t want to figure it out alone.

work with me 1:1 & have me in your corner

We’ll have a deeper call every two weeks, but the support doesn’t stop when the call ends.

You can text me when something comes up. Send a voice note when you need to talk something through. Ask me to look over something before you send it. Bring me a decision you’re wrestling with. Tell me about the opportunity you’re trying to land. Ask me what I think.

Sometimes you’ll need strategy. Sometimes you’ll need practical help. Sometimes you’ll need a second opinion. Sometimes you’ll just need someone who understands this industry to say, “Yes. I see what’s happening here.”

You can bring me the real stuff as it happens: career decisions, freelance operations, positioning, opportunities, side projects, difficult conversations, applications, proposals, plans, ideas or the occasional confidence wobble.

We’ll use our deeper calls to step back, look at the bigger picture and work out what comes next. Between those calls, you have a place to bring the things that can’t wait two weeks.

This is close, ongoing access to me for event professionals who want someone experienced in their corner.

  • Working out how to get a specific major event opportunity
  • Figuring out what you actually need to do to make your freelance business work better
  • Reviewing a proposal, CV, pitch, application or important email
  • Thinking through a new service, side hustle or business idea
  • Preparing for a difficult conversation or negotiation
  • Working out how to position yourself for the next level of your career
  • Talking through a career decision when you can’t see the wood for the trees
  • Having someone experienced look over a plan before you put it into action
  • Helping you navigate a new role, responsibility or project
  • Acting as an experienced outside brain when you need more ongoing operational or strategic support

There is no prescribed program because your career isn’t a program.  We work on what is actually happening in your world.

This might look like:

  • Two private advisory calls every month: A deeper call every two weeks to talk through what’s happening, make decisions and keep moving forward.
  • Direct access to me from 13:00 Monday until 13:00 on Friday: Message me, send a voice note or bring something to me as it comes up. You don’t have to wait for our next call.
  • Practical support between calls: Need me to review something? Want to talk through a decision? Need another perspective before you send that email? Send it over.
  • Ongoing, personal support: I get to know you, your goals, your work and what you’re navigating — so this isn’t starting from scratch every time we speak.

this is how i work

I want you to feel like you have somewhere to bring things.

You can share what’s going well, what’s frustrating you, what you’re excited about, what you’re overthinking and what you’re not quite ready to say out loud to anyone else.

I’ll listen. I’ll ask questions. I’ll challenge you when I think you’re playing too small or looking at something from the wrong angle. I’ll tell you when I think an idea has legs and when I think you’re making something harder than it needs to be.

I’m not here to give you a motivational speech and send you on your way.

I want to know what you’re working towards, understand how you work and be close enough to the detail that I can actually be useful.

That might mean a voice note. A quick text. Reviewing something you’ve drafted. A deeper conversation. A practical solution. A confidence boost. Or sitting with you while you work out what the hell you’re doing next.

The point is:

You don't have to wait until our next call to ask for help.

What this isn't:

This isn’t a six-week programme with a specific programme. It isn’t a library of videos you’re expected to work through. It isn’t me giving you a list of things to do and sending you off to figure them out alone.

It’s an ongoing relationship built around your career, your work and what you actually need.

You bring the situation.

We figure it out together.
